Build your own program
We know every class is different. If our current excursions or incursions do not meet your needs, you can work with us to build your own program. We help teachers design custom, curriculum aligned activities that support learning in the classroom.
This option is open to primary and secondary teachers who want a flexible program that links to their school’s learning goals.

How we work with you
When you contact us, we will:
- talk with you about your class and what you want students to learn
- help you choose activities that support the NSW curriculum
- plan safe and engaging fieldwork or school-based activities
- explain what staff, equipment and time you will need
- send you a clear outline of the program before the visit
You can choose a full day, half day or a shorter session.
What you can include
Your program can focus on:
- local environments, plants, animals and ecosystems
- science and geography fieldwork
- sustainability and conservation
- data collection and practical investigations
- creative, physical or inquiry activities
- cross curriculum priorities and local stories (where appropriate)
If you already have a topic or unit in mind, tell us and we will help shape a program that works for your students.
Who this works for
This option is great for:
- teachers planning a unit that needs a local or real-world focus
- classes needing curriculum aligned fieldwork
- enrichment, extension or leadership groups
- wellbeing or team building activities
- senior students who need practical investigations
